The night is headlined by Canadian comedian Phil Nichol, who has won numerous comedy during across his career. Miss Susan Murray, the Brighton-based comedian, is the compere for the evening. Also on the bill are Maureen Younger, Jo Romero and Janlin J MCea.

The show is at Ye Olde Rose and Crown pub on Hoe Street and tickets are £7.50 on the door or in advance from here. Show starts at 8.30pm. In the meantime, here’s a clip of Phil Nichol on The Graham Norton Show, performing an amusing song about the Dukes of Hazzard.
